Installing a language pack on Windows

1. Locate the machine where the base GRAT product is installed.
2. Run setup on the language pack you want to install.
3. When prompted, choose the correct installation of the base GRAT product (if GRAT is installed in more than one location).
4. When you confirm the correct location of the base GRAT product, the installation program updates the .war file.
5. Repeat Steps 2 through 4 for each language pack you want to install.
6. When all required language packs are installed, re-deploy the .war file. See Deploying the .WAR files.

Installing a language pack on UNIX

1. Locate the machine where the base GRAT product is installed.
2. Locate the Language Packs folder.
3. Add the following execute flag to the install.sh:
   • [root@host ip]# chmod +x install.sh
4. Run the install script:
   • [root@host ip]# ./install.sh
5. Provide the full path of the destination directory for installation:
   • /root/GRS/GRAT/
6. Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for each language pack you want to install.
7. When all required language packs are installed, re-deploy the .war file. See Deploying the .WAR files.

Selecting a preferred language in Internet Explorer

1. Locate Tools > Internet Options > Languages.
2. Add the preferred language and move it to the top of the list.
3. Log out or refresh the browser.

Selecting a preferred language in Firefox

1. Locate Tools > Options.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Add the preferred language and move it to the top of the list.
4. Log out or refresh the browser.

A language pack is an add-on that allows you to use yoursoftware in more than one language. Each language pack containsonly the text strings and documents required to support a userworking in the specified language. It doesn't duplicate the coreproduct.

How to download a language pack

1. Sign in to your account at manage.autodesk.com.
2. Under All Products and Services, locate your product and clickView downloads.
   Note: For Industry Collections or AutoCADincluding specialized toolsets, click View allitems first to see individual product downloads.
3. Select the Updates and Add-Ons tab for a list of allavailable downloads, including language packs.
4. Click the Add filters button to select alanguage.
5. Select a language and click Apply.
6. Click the download button. If asked for a location to extractthe files, select the default location unless your software isinstalled in a custom directory.

How to install a language pack

1. Install your software. Language packs are add-ons and not fullversions of the core software.
2. Run the EXE file for the language pack you downloaded. Languagepack file names follow this format:Title_Version_Language_LP_Platform_dlm.sfx.exe.
3. Click Install on the product installationscreen.
4. Verify the component you are installing, and click Install inthe target language.
   
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete theinstallation.
6. Click the new shortcut on your desktop to start your softwarein the language installed.
